Interns

Palm Valley Animal Center & The Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center offer internships opportunities to undergraduate and graduate candidates interested in a variety of fields. Interns gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, networking with professionals and learning from some of the most passionate and hardworking individuals in our industry. The duties and responsibilities of an intern vary by department and assignment.

Available internships are available at both of our locations in Edinburg, TX. Please refer to the following guidelines for submitting your application.

These internships will help interns acquire new skills in their field of interest, give valuable work experience in a 501(c)3 private nonprofit animal welfare organization, and while they work to help find homes for the dogs and cats in Hidalgo County.
