Friends waiting to go home
The Palm Valley Animal Center originated as the Upper Valley Humane Society which was established by a group of concerned citizens in 1973.
The shelter located in McAllen was surrendered to the Humane Society by the City of McAllen to continue all operations and functions of a shelter.
